Privacy Policy for A Little Push

Meg Software (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides the A Little Push mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy describes how information is collected, used, stored, and disclosed when you use the App.

By using the App, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Information Processed By the App
  • Push names, descriptions, categories, schedules, reminder settings, and related configuration data
  • Completion history, acknowledgement history, and timing-related activity associated with pushes
  • App preferences and settings
  • Notification preferences
  • Widget-related display data necessary to show due or upcoming push information
How Information Is Used

Information processed by the App is used solely to operate and improve the App’s core features, including to:

  • Create, display, update, and organize pushes
  • Schedule and manage reminders you enable
  • Present widget content you choose to display
  • Track completion history and progress over time
  • Store app settings and preferences
  • Support subscription or purchase-related feature access, where applicable
Data Storage

A Little Push is stores user data locally on the user’s device.

We do not transmit, collect, store, or maintain your push content, schedules, categories, completion history, or personal reminder data on our own servers. Because this information remains stored locally on your device, we do not have access to the content of your data in the ordinary operation of the App.

The App does not require account creation to use its core functionality, and we do not maintain a remote user database containing your reminder or tracking information.

If you enable widgets, limited data necessary for widget functionality may be shared locally between the App and its widget extension through Apple’s app group container on the same device. This does not give us remote access to your data.

Widgets and Shared App Data

If you enable widgets, limited app data may be shared between the App and its widget extension using Apple-provided app group container mechanisms so that widget content can display current due or upcoming information.

This shared data is used only for App functionality and is not used for third-party advertising or profiling.

Notifications

If you choose to enable notifications, the App will request permission from your device to send alerts and reminders. Notification scheduling is used solely to deliver reminders and related notices that you configure within the App.

You may disable notifications at any time through the App or your device settings, subject to system controls provided by Apple.

In-App Purchases and Subscription Processing

If the App offers paid features, subscriptions, or in-app purchases, those transactions are processed by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. We do not collect, receive, or store your full payment card details.

We may receive limited transaction-related information from Apple necessary to determine purchase status, restore purchases, and provide access to paid features.

Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell personal information.

We do not disclose user-entered App content to third parties except as necessary to support Apple platform functionality used by the App, including:

  • local notifications
  • widgets and extensions
  • App Store purchase and subscription infrastructure

We may also disclose information if required to comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of users, us, or others.

Analytics, Tracking, and Advertising

A Little Push does not use third-party advertising SDKs or third-party advertising trackers.

To the best of our current implementation, the App does not use third-party analytics tools to profile users across apps or websites. If analytics, diagnostics, crash reporting, or similar third-party services are added in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated before or when such practices take effect.

Data Retention

Because App data is primarily stored on your device, retention generally depends on your continued use of the App and whether you delete data from within the App or remove the App from your device.

Certain purchase-related records may be maintained by Apple under Apple’s own terms and policies.

Your Choices and Controls

You may, subject to the App’s available functionality:

  • edit or delete pushes and related content within the App
  • disable notifications through the App or device settings
  • remove widgets from your device
  • delete the App from your device

If you contact us directly, we may retain correspondence you send for support or administrative purposes.

Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information in connection with the App, please contact us so appropriate action can be taken.

Security

We use commercially reasonable measures appropriate to the nature of the App to support the security of information processed by the App. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International Users

If you use the App outside the United States, you understand that information may be processed on your device and through Apple platform services subject to applicable laws and Apple’s own terms and privacy practices.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will revise the “Effective Date” above. Your continued use of the App after an updated Privacy Policy becomes effective constitutes your acknowledgment of the revised policy.
